FAQ
-
How much do lessons cost?
The price for each project depends on your brief, the number of lessons required and the tutor. Lessons start at £90/hour.
-
Where do lessons take place?
Tutoring is often online, as tutors are highly in demand and juggle a busy workload. By mutual agreement, some tutors can travel to teach in-person (but will usually charge for their travel time).
-
How do you find your tutors?
The vast majority of tutors are contacts whom I have worked alongside for many years. Other tutors on the team have been recommended to me by trusted colleagues. Many of them teach at top day and boarding schools in the UK. All tutors are fully DBS checked and come with glowing references.
-
Does it matter if I am not in the UK?
Not at all. A large number of our students are either new to the British school system or are looking for a boost whilst studying in an international school overseas. We are highly attuned to the different challenges this might bring and know exactly how best to support students through this. We can work around different time zones.
-
Do I need to sign up for a certain number of lessons?
The beauty of private tutoring is that it’s personal. We can accommodate long-term jobs - and often work with students over a period of five years or more - as well as short-term boosts for a particular project.
